We are first and foremost, followers of Christ and seek to glorify Him in our lives. We desire for our lives to shine forth Christ's love and grace to all we meet. We both have HUGE missions/ministry hearts and goals for a future together of service in His kingdom, whatever the cost!
Both having grow up with VERY different backgrounds and going through MANY trials and awesome experiences growing up, it was God's plan that we meet at Bible school in January of 2007 and become wonderful friends, and then what else but to fall in love. We got engaged on February 16th, 2008. The time between the day of our engagement and the day of our wedding the Lord brought us both as well as our families, through some very TOUGH times of just clinging to Him and Him alone. But as always He was/is faithful! We were married June 14th and are SO thankful to the Lord for the work he's done/doing in both our lives even since we've been married! We are now embarked on the daily adventures that God is leading us on, involved in ministry, working in the work-a-day world and full time nursing students, looking forward to an uninhibited future wherever God leads. To GOD be the glory!
" Go into ALL the world and preach the Gospel to all creation" Mk. 16:15
"And people who do not know the Lord ask why in the world we waste our lives as missionaries. They forget that they too are expending their lives... and when the bubble has burst they will have nothing of eternal significance to show for the years they have wasted." Nate Saint
"We must feel toward our people as a father toward his children; yea, the most tender love of a mother must not surpass ours. We must even travail in birth, till Christ be formed in them. They should see that we care for no outward thing, neither liberty, nor honor, nor life, in comparison to their salvation... When the people see that you truly love them, they will hear anything from you...Oh therefore, see that you feel a tender love for your people in your hearts, and let them perceive it in your speech and conduct. Let them see that you spend and are spent for their sakes."
